Weekly "Music Notes" - August 19-23, 2024

Congratulations on finishing the first week of school! There were many rules, procedures, and policies discussed all across the school, but I appreciate students for following the band’s two rules:

August 19: Concert, Symphonic, and Jazz Bands - BRING YOUR INSTRUMENTS!!!!

I wanted to give a shoutout TO YOU! Thank you to all the families that came to our Band Parent Meeting last Thursday and to the families and student helpers who came to Instrument Fittings yesterday! I am very happy with the turn out I received on these events and very appreciative of you giving your time to see what band is about! 

3rd, 5th, 6th Announcement!

Please bring your instruments to school TOMORROW! If you are planning to use a school owned instrument, your Instrument Rental Form must be turned in tomorrow in order for me to allow you to use an instrument. The band room will be open in the morning at 9am for you to have the chance to drop your instrument off in your locker before class.

Materials Reminder

Just as a reminder, you will need these materials for band:

1. Binder (1/2 - 1 inch)

2. Pencils (no pen)

3. Binder Sheet Protectors

4. Notebook Paper for notes

5. Instrument (when assigned)

6. Supplies for Instrument
