Here’s everything you need to know for this week!

May 11-15, 2026

Monday, May 11: Beginning Band Rehearsal, 4:15PM-5:15PM

Tuesday, May 12: Spring Band Concert and Awards, 7PM @ Umatilla High School

Wednesday, May 13: Open Practice, 3PM-4PM

Thursday, May 14: Open Practice, 4PM-5PM

Spring Concert - May 12

Our Spring Concert is THIS TUESDAY!! The Spring Concert is a mandatory performance for ALL BAND STUDENTS!

Date: Tuesday, May 12

Time: 7PM (Student call time 6PM)

Location: Umatilla HS Auditorium

Attire:

     - Symphonic Band: Black Dress Shirt, Black Dress Pants/Maxi Length Skirt, Black Dress Socks, and Black Dress Shoes

     - Beginning Band: UMS Orange Shirt (with sponsors), Black Dress Pants/Maxi Length Skirt, Black Dress Socks, and Black Dress Shoes

Rehearsals:

Thursday, May 7: Symphonic Band, 4:15-5:15PM

Monday, May 11: Beginning Band, 4:15-5:15PM

Spring Band Celebration - May 22!

Students! Join us in the band room on Friday, May 22 from 4-6PM for a day to celebrate and enjoy each other’s company! Play board games, play ball outside, watch a movie!

Requirements in Attending:

1. Band Fees must be paid in full

2. Bring a snack (nut free) or a drink to share

3. You must follow all band and school rules.

4. Restroom in Elective Hallway is to be used (no wandering campus). Otherwise students must stay in the band room area

5. Optional: bring any games/video games/sports balls you would like to use at the celebration

6. Any student not following expectations will be instructed to call their parent to be picked up

7. Students will be picked up through the bus loop

I will send out messages this week to update everyone on band fees!

Tuesday, May 19: Instrument Return Process/Summer Rental Process Begins

Wednesday, May 20: Leadership Interviews (During School/After School)

Friday, May 22: Spring Band Celebration!

Tuesday, May 26: Brass Cleaning Day 🧽🫧
