Thursday, August 21: Chattlanta Trip Meeting, 5:30PM in the Umatilla HS Auditorium

Saturday, August 23: Instrument Fitting Day, 1-3PM in the Umatilla MS Gym

Chattlanta Trip!

In case you have not heard, we will be traveling with the Umatilla High School Bulldog Band to Chattanooga, Tennessee and Atlanta, Georgia! Please attend the meeting THIS THURSDAY, August 21st at 5:30PM in the UHS Auditorium for more details and information.

Instrument Fittings!

ATTENTION BEGINNING BAND!!! You have the opportunity to find the instrument that works best for you THIS SATURDAY from 1-3PM in the UMS Gym! Some of my wonderful colleagues and I will help you decide which instrument you would like to play in class!

Music Shack and Music & Arts will also be there for any instrument rentals you want to start! RETURNING STUDENTS! If you would like to talk to Music & Arts or Music Shack, this would be a great time to do so.

Performance in Class

Dear Parents, please make sure your students do not leave the house without their instrument!!! We started playing in class on Thursday, and I do not want students sitting out and not playing.

If your student is borrowing an instrument from me, please sign the Instrument Rental Form. I CANNOT GIVE YOUR CHILD AN INSTRUMENT UNTIL IT IS SIGNED BY YOU AND THEM!

I will start grading in class performance WEEK OF AUGUST 25!!!!! So let’s get this done!

August 29: Deadline to submit students for All-State Auditions

September 13: All-State Auditions, North Marion HS, Times Vary

September 30: Band Fees DUE
